Erganal analytical laboratories coordinate the project. As a private lab, Erganal are active in quality control of consumer products and respond to the daily needs of the industry and the trade for safety and quality control of materials, products and goods. Erganal has fully equipped laboratories with specialized personnel and provide laboratory / advisory services to food and food business operators, food supplements, disinfectants, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Consistently and reliably, Erganal provides chemical analysis, microbiology, safety testing and advisory services.

The Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition of the School of Food, Biotechnology and Development is involved in this project, represented by the Laboratory of Food Quality Control and Hygiene (LFQCH). LFQCH was established in 1994 and the main research activities are focused on fermented meat products, food spoilage, the prevalence and behavior (stress-responses, growth/inactivation) of pathogenic microorganisms in food, the phenotypic and molecular characterization of pathogenic microorganisms, mild and natural preservation methods, application of active packaging in the extension of the shelf-life of meat and meat products, predictive modelling and quantitative microbial risk assessment. The team is coordinated by the Associate Professor Panagiotis N. Skandamis who is also the scientific responsible of E-platon.
Infomed CS is an innovative software development company that develops and supports Information Systems for Diagnostics, Imaging and Analytical Laboratories (LIS, RIS, LIMS). Infomed develops software applications that adapt to the day-to-day workflow of laboratories, following their steadily growing demands and through the development and improvement of their information systems, allowing them to adapt and align themselves to the conditions of the rapidly evolving space of Health.
